SUMMARY:OSHA at the door 2021
DESCRIPTION:About this Webinar:\n Decades in the safety business have shown us that most companies are NOT PREPARED for a regulatory agency visit. Amidst the challenges of keeping workers safe during normal times\, COVID-19 has added another layer of complexity with managing safety in the workplace.\n\n \n\n Due to the pandemic\, OSHA is increasing in-person inspections at all types of workplaces and will continue to prioritize COVID-19 inspections while utilizing all enforcement tools as it has historically done. What if an inspector turns up at your door? It can happen anytime with no advance warning.\n\n \n\n This free webinar will help you better protect your employees and make a huge difference in how your company fares with an OSHA inspector visit.\n\n \n\n In this webinar\, we will help you:\n\n \n Be prepared! We'll cover why having a Safety Plan that includes COVID-19 measures is so important.\n Train your leadership team and key employees on how to seamlessly handle an OSHA visit.\n Utilize best practices\, avoid costly fines\, and handle the follow-up visit successfully.\n Q & A with the panel.\n \n This webinar has been approved as a Continuing Education (CE) credit by the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. This activity meets CE requirements for 1 contact hour. A certificate will be available by attending the event and completing an evaluation.\n\n \n\n Presenters:\n\n Tim Peterson\, CHST\n Tim is a 25-year veteran of OECS\, performing thousands of employee trainings and audits across general industry and construction. As Vice President of Operations and a member of the company's leadership team\, he manages field operations throughout the Midwest\, helping clients manage their regulatory issues with his extensive experience.\n\n \n Larry Sperling\n Larry is an industry Safety Specialist and was a Senior Safety Investigator with MN OSHA for over 16 years. He performed approximately 800 inspections during that time in the general industry. He is extremely knowledgeable across the elements of precision manufacturing. His strengths center around metal stamping and metal fabricating equipment and machine guarding in general. Lockout tagout is also an area of expertise\, due to many injuries and fatalities where it was a factor.
