DESCRIPTION:How can Minnesota's west central region solve the workforce shortage?  Can you help?\n\n \n\nGreetings from your Regional Workforce Alliance Business Partners:\n\nAt an employer summit in Detroit Lakes in April\, event organizers heard very clearly that employers want to network with peers\, hear about workforce solutions\, and contribute ideas to mitigate the labor issues in our region today   and tomorrow. \n\nYou are invited to attend a Partnership for Workforce Solutions meeting\, on Wednesday\, June 20 from 10 a.m.   12:30 pm. in Moorhead   lunch included.  This meeting is intended to engage business leaders in making real plans to create workforce solutions\, and in turn\, engage the public/private workforce system to align resources and policy behind business-driven plans.\n\n\n\nWhile these may sound like long-term goals\, we are committed to specific and immediate take-aways from this partnership meeting\, including:\n\n	An opportunity to network with peers to discuss and plan in a roundtable format\n	Hear about some of the best practices occurring in your region and elsewhere for recruitment\, retention\, and creating a welcoming workplace (to name a few!)\n	Have your voice heard in setting priorities for action\n	Create solutions at the company\, local and regional level.\n\nThis meeting is the first of its kind in our region\, and we hope you are able to attend!\n\n\n\nFor questions or for more information\, please contact our staff support:  Angele Hartell (218-232-0022) or Craig Nathan (218-825-6784)\, or call me directly at 320-239-4799  ext. 211.\n\n\n\nPlease register at www.region1careerforce.com/register and select "Moorhead."
